JHSC Refresher Instructor-Led Training
Additional Course Information
This CPO-approved refresher course is designed for certified Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) members who are currently certified JHSC members. To maintain certification status under Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), members must complete approved refresher training every three (3) years. Please note: This is a live, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) course. Participants join scheduled online sessions led by a qualified instructor. This interactive format ensures an engaging learning experience while providing the flexibility of remote access.

Review of key concepts from JHSC Part 1 and Part 2
Updates to legislation, standards, and best practices
Reinforcement of the roles, responsibilities, and duties of certified members
Practical discussion of current health and safety challenges in Ontario workplaces
This 1-day course supports continued effectiveness of JHSC members and ensures alignment with the most recent regulatory changes and workplace expectations.
