RSTS - M21 - Highway Maintenance
Highway maintenance is a specialized branch of road construction that has the important responsibility of making highways safe for travel in all seasons. In this course, nine distinct services that are required for highway maintenance are introduced with the specialized tasks, equipment, and terminology that are critical to functioning in this role. The learner will understand the common hazards encountered by highway maintenance crews while performing their various tasks and the safe work practices to use to manage risk and reduce incidents.
This course is intended for anyone who performs highway maintenance services. The course content includes real worksite video with key concepts and terms reinforced by text and imagery and quizzes throughout based on on-the-job scenarios. There is a final exam with an 80% pass rate required to complete the course and obtain the certificate.
