Danatec JHSC Part 2 Instructor-Led Training
Additional Course Information
This course is the second part of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) certification program approved under the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and overseen by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development.Please note: This is a live, virtual instructor-led training (VILT) course. Participants attend scheduled, online sessions led in real time by a qualified instructor. This format ensures active engagement and guided learning while allowing remote access.To become a fully certified JHSC member in Ontario, participants must complete both Part 1 and Part 2 training. Part 2 builds on foundational knowledge from Part 1 by focusing on the application of hazard recognition, assessment, and control within a workplace-specific context.
Course Overview
This course includes seven modules, beginning with a review of key concepts from Part 1, followed by six modules covering specific workplace hazards. Learners will participate in interactive activities, discussions, and case studies that reference current legislation, industry standards, and applicable codes.
