THE TECHNOLOGY

What is dispatch?

Dispatch is a SCORM-based integration that delivers compliance courses directly inside your existing LMS. It supports both SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004, covering the vast majority of enterprise LMS platforms in use across Canada today.

  • Centralized tracking. Learner completions are recorded inside your existing LMS. No secondary platform. No migration required.
  • Built for enterprise. Designed for organizations managing training across large, distributed workforces. Not intended for small teams or limited single-course deployments.
  • Already running an LMS? Dispatch delivers trusted Danatec and FSI courses directly inside your existing system, keeping your workflows, reporting, and oversight intact. No second platform required.
  • Direct to employers. We work with organizations to ensure their employees have the training they need. We do not supply course content to other training providers for resale or redistribution.

WHY IT MATTERS

The problem dispatch solves

Many large organizations in regulated industries face the same challenge. The most effective compliance training content, including courses that meet Transport Canada, Health Canada, and provincial OHS standards, is often hosted on a separate platform. This means learner records are split, reporting is fragmented, and audit preparation becomes a manual effort.

Migrating to a new LMS is rarely a viable solution when existing infrastructure, IT dependencies, and internal reporting workflows are already built around the current system.

Dispatch eliminates the need to choose between training quality and system consolidation. Organizations keep their LMS. Learners stay in one environment. Compliance records remain unified.

HOW IT WORKS

How dispatch works

ellipse-1

We confirm compatibility

We validate that your LMS supports SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 using a test file before anything is built.

ellipse-2

We build your dispatch package

We create your Dispatch package for the licensed courses, structured as a single file or modular format to suit your LMS.

ellipse-3

You deploy the content on your LMS

Your LMS administrator uploads and configures the content. Your team and LMS provider manage deployment and any ongoing troubleshooting.

ellipse-4

Learners access training

Learners access training through your LMS as normal. Completions are tracked inside your system.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Dispatch?

Dispatch is a SCORM-based training integration solution that delivers select Danatec and Fleet Safety International (FSI) training courses, including WHMIS, TDG, and driver safety training, directly inside an organization's existing Learning Management System (LMS). It uses SCORM Cloud as the integration layer.

Does Dispatch work with any LMS?

Dispatch is compatible with any LMS that supports SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004, which covers the vast majority of enterprise LMS platforms. Before deployment, Danatec provides a test file to confirm compatibility with your specific environment. We recommend confirming SCORM support with your LMS administrator before engaging our sales team.

Do we need to migrate our LMS to use Dispatch?

No. Dispatch is designed specifically for organizations that want to keep their existing LMS. It delivers Danatec and FSI training content inside the current LMS without requiring any platform migration or system change.

Is Dispatch available to all organizations?

Dispatch is an enterprise solution built for large organizations managing compliance training across significant learner volumes. It is not designed for small teams or single-course deployments. Contact sales for other options for accessing and delivering our course content.

Please note: this is a direct-to-employer solution. We work with organizations to ensure their employees have the training they need. We do not supply course content to other training providers for resale or redistribution.

What courses are available through Dispatch?

Dispatch delivers select courses from Danatec and Fleet Safety International (FSI). Danatec courses include WHMIS, TDG, and safety training for construction, oil and gas, transportation, and industrial sectors. FSI courses cover driver safety and fleet compliance training. Not all Danatec or FSI courses are available through Dispatch. Contact Sales to confirm which courses are eligible for your organization's requirements.

What happens when regulations change?

Standard Danatec and FSI courses update automatically when federal or provincial regulatory requirements change. Organizations do not need to request a new package or redeploy content. Updates are applied through the Dispatch integration.

Can we control how many users access the training?

Yes. Dispatch includes configurable license controls, consumption rules, and expiry windows. Organizations manage access within the parameters of their license agreement.

How much IT involvement does Dispatch require?

LMS administrator access is required to configure the Dispatch package inside the organization's LMS. We Know Training (WKT) delivers the Dispatch package and content. Danatec and Fleet Safety International are the course owners of the content and are both owned and operated by WKT.

All configuration, deployment, and ongoing LMS troubleshooting are the responsibility of the organization and their LMS provider. WKT cannot diagnose or support technical issues across individual LMS platforms. Organizations should engage their LMS provider directly for platform-specific technical questions.

Who do we contact if something isn't working?

Danatec provides support for the Dispatch content package. For LMS configuration, integration, or technical issues, the organization's LMS provider is the appropriate support contact. This ensures your team retains full ownership of your system, and that technical issues are resolved by the team with direct platform access.
