Fall Protection - Alberta (Add-on Certification)
Course by: Danatec Educational Services
Description
NOTE: Learners are only qualified to take this add-on if they hold a currently valid Fall Protection Online Certification Training or Fall Protection – British Columbia certificate through Danatec. You will not be able to begin this training without one of these prerequisites.
Already trained in fall protection elsewhere in Canada? This add-on brings you up to speed on the rules that apply to work at heights in Alberta. You’ve completed the core course, so you only need the Alberta jurisdictional module and the final exam.
The Alberta Jurisdictional Module covers the legislation that governs work at heights in Alberta, including Part 9 (Fall Protection) of the Alberta OHS Code. It is built for workers, supervisors, and employers who need to understand their duties under Alberta law before working at heights.
This add-on is for:
- Workers performing tasks at elevation in Alberta
- Supervisors, foremen, and health and safety personnel in Alberta
- Competent persons overseeing fall protection compliance on Alberta worksites
- Employers who need documented, jurisdiction-specific training for their Alberta workforce
What’s included:
- The Alberta Jurisdictional Module
- An Alberta final exam
- Supervisor Competency Assessment Tools, so a supervisor or other qualified person can evaluate and sign off on a worker’s hands-on competency on site
Complete the add-on and receive a printable certificate recognizing your Alberta training. Self-paced, mobile friendly, and available 24/7.
If you don’t hold a valid prerequisite, view Fall Protection – Alberta for the full program.
